Senate To Consider Bill To End Shutdown

The Senate is expected to consider a bill as early as Tuesday, which would end the ongoing partial government shutdown.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will introduce the bill outlined by President Trump, which reportedly offers DACA protections in exchange for border wall infrastructure.

Reports claim the legislation will also allocate funding for disaster aid.

President Trump weighed in on the border security crisis Tuesday saying, “Without a wall our country can never have border or national security.”

The president went on to reiterate he will not cave in an effort to secure border wall funding.

Various Democrats have already pushed back on the president’s proposed plan, which he outlined from the White House Saturday.
