Both Democrats and Republicans serving on the Senate Intelligence Committee have weighed in on the Mueller probe, suggesting there is no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Senator Richard Burr weighed in previously saying the investigation is coming to a close, and the committee has yet to find concrete evidence.
Though lawmakers disagree about the circumstances of various contacts amid the campaign, no evidence of collusion has been uncovered.
A former lawyer for President Trump, John Dowd, weighed in on the probe suggesting he thinks the investigation will not warrant any report at all.
Dowd has made it clear he believes the probe was a waste of time and will be “will be shocked if anything regarding the president is made public.”
The ongoing Russia probe has been ongoing for the last two years, and there have been 200 interviews in connection with the investigation.
