February Jobs Report: Americans In Workforce Reaches Record High

The number of Americans in the workforce reaches nearly 157 million people, which is an all-time record high.
The Labor Department released the jobs report for February on Friday, which depicted the unemployment rate at 3.8%.
The unemployment rate specifically for adult men, Whites, and Hispanics all fell in the month of February.
Average hourly earnings also spiked by .4%, which is a .3% spike since January.
President Trump weighed in on the findings via twitter, commending the women’s unemployment rate which stands at 3.6%.

There were 20,000 jobs added to the workforce falling short of experts’ predictions.
The labor force participation rate remained at 63.2%, which is also a five-year high.
