The Republican National Committee raised a record-setting amount of money during the month of September, according to a Fox News exclusive report.
The RNC reportedly brought in $27.3 million dollars last month as President Trump’s reelection campaign for the White House continues to heat up.
The report also suggests this is the most money raised during a one-month period for both the Democrat and Republican parties ever.
Ronna McDaniel, RNC Chairwoman, weighed in on the unprecedented steam behind the GOP during an interview saying, “While Democrats focus on fighting President Trump, Republicans have prioritized voters and we have another record-breaking fundraising month—the highest ever off-cycle—to show for it.”
The report comes on the heels of another record-setitng month at the time- the month of August.
The Republican National Committee announced it raised a previously record-breaking $23.5 million during August as the 2020 presidential race continues to heat up.
The RNC also had the most money in the bank since September of 2016, according to the committee.
The $23.5 million only includes direct contributions to the RNC, and does not include money raised by the joint fundraising committees.
Meanwhile, the committee just a couple weeks ago announced it had raised $125 million in the third quarter, has $156 million in the bank, and has raised over $308 million just this year alone.
Representatives for the RNC have clarified the money will go toward turning historically blue states red during the 2020 presidential election.
Some of the states the Trump campaign will reportedly target include Nevada, New Hampshire, and Minnesota.
President Trump has been holding various rallies across the country in an effort to garner additional support for his reelection campaign- the next one is at the American Airlines Center tonight in Dallas, Texas.
