Pres. Trump to Release First Phone Call Transcript with Ukrainian Pres.

President Trump announced on Monday via twitter he would be releasing the first phone call transcript with the president of Ukraine sometime this week.

President Trump announces he will release another phone call transcript involving the president of Ukraine in an effort to squash the Democrats’ ongoing “impeachment hoax.”

The president made that announcement via twitter on Monday saying, “In order to continue being the most Transparent President in history, I will be releasing sometime this week the Transcript of the first, and therefore most important, phone call I had with the President of Ukraine.”

President Trump has repeatedly slammed the left for using the phone call as justification for pushing their “witch hunt”, while also touting the call as being “perfect.”

The president also reaffirmed his announcement on twitter Tuesday saying he will release the transcript of the first phone call with President Volodymyr Zelensky sometime this week.

The left has repeatedly insisted there was quid pro quo involved with President Trump conversation with Zelensky, an accusation he has vehemently denied both before and after the release of the transcript.

Even after Ukrainian officials, including Zelensky insisted there was no pressure to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, the Democrats’ have continued igniting a stir on the Hill.

Meanwhile, the House Intelligence Committee is set to hold the first public impeachment hearings this week on Capitol Hill, which will feature three key officials.

On Wednesday, U.S. diplomat in Ukraine Bill Taylor, and deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent will testify before lawmakers at 10:00 a.m. ET in the first public hearing.

The following hearing will take place on Friday at 9:00 a.m. ET and will feature former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.

President Trump’s announcement surrounding the first transcript of the call with the president of Ukraine comes just weeks after the House passed a resolution formalizing the impeachment inquiry.

The White House released a statement slamming the move saying, “The resolution put forward by Speaker Pelosi confirms that House Democrats’ impeachment has been an illegitimate sham from the start as it lacked any proper authorization by a House vote.”

The statement continues, “The White House is barred from participating at all, until after Chairman Schiff conducts two rounds of one-sided hearings to generate a biased report for the Judiciary Committee.”

The White House also blasted Democrats for not affording President Trump his due process rights amid the push.

Democrats have been holding closed-door hearings for weeks and, according to their GOP counterparts, have been politically motivated from the start.
