Report: Fox News BANS Rudy Giuliani and son from appearing on the network

Fox News banned former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and his son Andrew Giuliani from appearing on the network for three months, Politico Playbook reported Friday.

As the mayor of NYC during September 11th, 2001, Giuliani was scheduled to appear on Fox News – that is until co-host of Fox & Friends Pete Hegseth called him on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks to give him the boot, according to Breitbart.

Bookers told Politico that the ban on both Giuliani’s came from the top.

This, according to sources, hurt Giuliani because he was central to helping Fox News be aired in NYC as mayor in a favor to former Fox News CEO Rupert Murdoch.

“Rudy is really hurt because he did a big favor for Rupert,” a source close to Giuliani said, according to Politico. “He was instrumental in getting Fox on Time Warner so it could be watched in New York City.”

The former NYC mayor also served as President Donald Trump’s personal attorney, raising questions as to whether the network’s ban could be related.

Rudy’s son, Andrew Giuliani, did not escape Fox News’ blacklist either, as he has reportedly not been on the network since he announced he was running for New York governor back in May.

Along with the Giuliani’s, several Trump administration officials have found it difficult to appear on the network now, Politico reported.
