President Donald Trump addressed some of the most pressing issues in the nation while speaking at his Inauguration Eve Rally on Sunday night, but one of his boldest statements involved declassifying the records surrounding the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, the 64th U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
He noted his plans to get to work passing executive orders right after after taking his oath of office. “You’re gonna have a lot of fun watching television tomorrow,” he stated.
President Trump promised, “As the first step to restoring transparency and accountability to government we will also reverse the overclassification of government documents.
“And in the coming days, we’re going to make public remaining records relating to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, his brother Robert Kennedy, as well as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and other topics of great public interest.”
During his reelection campaign, President Trump expressed a pressing desire to declassify the JFK assassination documents, via RSBN.
RSBN also reported that he previously expressed interest in declassifying documents surrounding the Deep State. Then after surviving an assassination attempt in July, he also stated that he would declassify the documents involving the attempt on his own life, per RSBN
The crowd cheered on President Trump’s plans to give Americans insight into these serious historical events. He then concluded, “It’s all gonna be released, Uncle Sam.”
