President Donald Trump won the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship over the weekend at Trump International, bringing home his third big golf win of the year.
The official Trump Golf account on X shared on Sunday, “Congratulations to @realdonaldtrump on winning the Club Championship at @TrumpPalmBeach, his third win this year alone following the Senior and Super Senior Championships. Absolutely incredible!”
On Instagram and on Truth Social, President Trump captioned a golf video with a statement: “A great honor to have won both the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship this week at Trump International!”
In an otherwise arduous election year, Trump’s golf win showed a more relaxed side for the 45th president, who has been known for literally knocking it out of the park when it comes to his golf game.
In 2022, he hit a hole-in-one while playing with golfers Ernie Els and Gene Saurs. He later confirmed the news in a statement made through his Save America PAC. “Many people are asking, so I’ll give it to you now, it is 100% true,” he wrote.
His big golf win comes on the heels of his Saturday spent campaigning in Dayton, Ohio, for Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bernie Moreno at a Buckeye Values PAC Rally.
Trump International also welcomed another championship win for a member of their family: Kai Trump, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., and granddaughter of the 45th president.
The president’s eldest son wrote on Instagram, “So proud of my (not so) little girl @kaitrumpgolfer who racked up yet another ladies club championship…She was even par through a few days of match play and never had to go past the 13th hole for her wins.”
